The extravagantly minimalistic house, located in Auckland, New Zealand, offers a magnificent view on the Waitamata harbour and the Auckland city. Designed by Daniel Marshall Architects, it is situated in the area of the ancient crater that embraces Orakei Basin. However, the most important is the “pergatoria”, the term made up by the italian architect Terragni for an entry courtyard. It conceals the garage doorway and central entry, making it a holistic cedar ground floor exterior, with an excellent background for a red sports car.
The interior presents a really minimalistic design, with a lot of light provided by the glass wall, and the light reflected of the white walls. The grand chandelier, especially designed for this house, is the surprise element in the interior. However, apart from the grand exterior and minimalistic interior, the house has an amazing infinity pool, with an incredible view on the harbour.
