Los Almates House
Jorge Hernandez de la Garza has recently announced the completion of the Los Almates House in Morelos, Mexico. The house is a contemporary residence, which follows the modern standarts of the luxurious dwelling. Let’s take a closer look!
Unique Mexico Residence
Located in the tourist resort in some far away distance from the mega polis is this amazing Los Almates residence, presented by Architect Jorge Hernandez de la Garza. The architecture of the residence gives an impression of a solid block of a structure, contrasting along the perfect green lawn of the yard. There are several levels of the housing unit, and the general shape of it reminds of the famous apple products, by its white base and round tips.
When designing the residence, Jorge Hernandez de la Garza kept in mind three important factors: the vegetation, the warm weather, as well as the customer’s needs. The house is composed of different levels that are divided by different furnishing techniques. This way, we can see that the first level introduced the glass curtain which separates the dining room parlor with the rest of the house.
There are different ways to approach the house, however each side is equally stunning. The house contains the following rooms: living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom , kid’s bedroom, laundry room, entrance hall and a big outdoor terrace with a swimming pool. As the area of the construction is quite large, we can observe the greatness of the building and only think of what is hidden inside. Here is some more information from the architect:
A detailed wooden lattice makes it possible to communicate the guest’s bedroom with all the other services of the house and it gives warmness and texture to the project. A thin concrete plane that folds itself structures and gives the private space of the house in the high floor; an outdoor corridor serves as mirador and link to communicate each space in this level. The double height in the parlor and a light folding glass integrate the house to the context and make it possible that the outer and inner spaces become one. The swimming pool complements the program; it begins in the platform and it makes it possible to merge the atmosphere of the house with its natural surroundings.
