H’ House by Wiel Arets Architects
Another contemporary wonder by Netherlands based architecture company, the H’ House by Wiel Arets Architects is a unique collaboration between the garden exterior and artistic white interior. Let’s inspect the house closer!
White Maastricht House
The H’House is located in Maastricht, Netherlands in the preexisting formal garden, and you can imagine its view, especially in the summer. The house is a two storey building, with walls are mainly from glass, which allows in a lot of light and welcomes the greenery of the exterior. It features 130 square meters of purely white interior, that was made up by a team of designers, including Satoru Umehara, Harold Herman, Daniel Meier, and others.
The house was designed for an artistic couple, one a dancer another an actor, who surprisingly both are architects. The interior of the house presents a loft like space with a central mezzanine. There are two independent volumes, the bathroom and the entrance. The shape of the house is really unique, as it offers unusual angles of the exterior view. Of course the glass walls have different shades of opacity, offering needed level of intimacy and privacy.
