Chalet Interior Décor Tips

Before we start on analyzing the chalet renovation décor tips, let’s consider some of the most famous Swiss Chalet Renovated. First in our list would be the chalet Noisette in Gryon, Switzerland. It used to be a antique century old small cabin. However, it was remodeled recently by the architectural studio Lacroix Chessex. The century old cabin has been given a new life of the modern Swiss chalet, which is equipped with all the contemporary appliances. Inside it contains the traditional wood décor and minimalistic interior, with a drastic red corridor that spices up the interior.

Another chalet of our inspiration is the White Pearl Chalet. As can be viewed from the picture, this chalet looks like it appeared out of a fairy tale. Located between the village of Val d’Isere and the Funival Funicular in La Daiile in French Alps, this chalet presents a contrary to the other type of chalet renewal, Noisette in Gryon. Mostly rustic in design, unlike the Noisette minimalistic approach, the White Pearl Chalet is very conservative in choosing colors, preferring mostly white and beige colors, with little grey pearl tints. Located just nearby is the famous Black Pearl Chalet. Both beauties were built in 1890 by Phillippe Capezzone, a renowned architect. These wonderful Pearl chalets are designed to be the post of luxury in the fashionable Courchevel resort.

The last on the list of our inspirations is the Chalet Béranger, also located in the French Alps. Designed by the Noe Duchaufour Lawrance, this chalet sports the minimalistic approach to interior design. The designer has adhered to the traditional wooden structures, that are an inherit trait of all chalet, however he managed to add a modern minimalistic twist to the interior. The wood is taken as a leading structure in the design, with contemporary minimalistic twist as a continuing thought behind the interior. The chalet has all of the modern appliances, including the Jacuzzi on the first floor, and looks rather surrealistic and spaceship like.
