If you love reading and enjoy cozy conditions, you will just fall in love with the new piece by British design studio TILT. It is a cozy suite that incorporates an armchair with a side-board with installed bookcase and a side-table. It is amazing how despite the progressing technology, the passion for reading in book format remains. In the past years, TILT already released a library chair similar to the new one, however, this time they have improved the design of the chair.

The concept of the armchair with an installed bookcase has a rather interesting history. Initially it was created for the Grade II listed building, where of course any intervention with a structure of the building is not allowed. That means that a construction of a simple bookcase is also not an option.

Despite being quite multifunctional, the design of the OpenBook suite is really open and visible to other people in the house. This is especially important as it allows free flow of communication between the reader and other inhabitants. The fully upholstered design of a chair makes it perfect to be included into interior. Moreover the sideboards provide an additional soundproofing for the reader. One of the sideboards includes a hanging storage for magazines and newspapers.

The OpenBook suite varies in colors to suit the interior design preferences. There is white timber with contrasting blue cushion and blue hanging storage; then there are orange upholstery variations with grey cushions. The chair is not only functional, but also quite stylish on its own.
