Inside out chair by Sarah Paculdo
This amazing twisting chair, made by San-Francisco based designer Sarah Paculdo, has presented flexible, yet stylish designs. Not original in its concept, the Flat pack Flex Chair design is very original in design. Usually the flexible chairs are made from plywood or metal sheets; however this chair is designed and known specifically for its plasticity by principles of “inside out designs”, a concept created by Jim Shook.
It can turn itself inside out, and adapt to the person who sits down, with the help of that person. The design of this chair is very unique, and seems to be greatly uncomfortable, however that is a trick that is played by designer with the eyes of the user.
The chair can be reassembled and assembled easily, because the material is very flexible and light. The Flat pack Flex chair is not for a commoner and looks very contemporary, with a rather futuristic design. The crimson red color of the chair is a promising eye catcher bright spot in the otherwise minimalistic interior design.
