Artless Electric Blue Armchair
This is a stunning piece of electric blue furniture by famous furniture company “Artless”, that can become a magnificent focal point, especially in contemporary interior design.
Yves Klein Melinda Chair
The new electric blue armchair was made by Artless, in a memory of short, yet so amazing life of French artist Yves Klein – the ‘poet of the immaterial’. It is a rather sad piece, because it is like a furniture obituary Yves Klein, who was a French artist, considered an important figure in post-war European art. He is also the leading member of the French artistic movement of Nouveau réalisme founded in 1960.
The given chair is very conceptual in its appearance: it is made in an extremely unusual jewelled tone of blue, yet it sort of transmits the mourning for the lost poet. The chair is made from Walnut, with soft electric blue cushions. The blue chair, as the “Artless” company points out is a “melancholy in a shape of chair”. The chair was released in limited edition, precisely 10 pieces only!
