Easter Centerpiece Ideas
Easter is coming. So if you want to decorate your house for the holiday a table centerpiece can become the main focus in the decor. It’s easy to make and you may not even have any other decorations at all.
DIY Easter Centerpiece
Flower vase is the easiest table centerpiece for any holiday or occasion. But in order to make it more Easter-y you can add dyed eggs, bunny figurines, and other holiday accessories.
Whether you dye eggs or not you can take advantage of this Easter attribute to decorate your home. An egg centerpiece is easy and requires only eggs and a bowl or a vase. You can also use jelly beans or fake different colored eggs instead. And you can also fill up the vase with other fillers like grass, moss, or veggies like carrots and asparagus.
An Easter wreath doesn’t necessarily have to hang on your door. You can use it as a table centerpiece as part of your holiday table decor.
The base of your centerpiece will determine its shape and size. It should be stable and properly disguised if it’s not meant to be shown off as in case with vases, decorative dishes, and trays. The composition of a centerpiece should also be balanced and stylized for it to look impressive.
In order to create a harmonious composition try using objects of different sizes like chicken and quail eggs, jelly beans and M&Ms. Consider color combinations as well. Green can be a great backdrop for a centerpiece of any color scheme. You can choose a certain color scheme for both your centerpiece and table decor so they could complement each other.
Finally, to make your centerpiece harmonize with the rest of the house make sure to bring in some spring colors and attributes to decor. Think spring flowers, light curtains, and neutral table linens.
