Kitchen Cabinet Upcycling Ideas
Laundry Room Cabinet
One of two or maybe even more (depending on how much free space you have) could be utilized as laundry cabinets for storing detergents, conditioners, and other household cleaning supplies. Give them a fresh coat of whatever paint color suits your laundry room or closet and voila all those bottles and jars stored safely away from children and just where you need them.
This is a great idea for parents whose kids aren’t yet at school. The opening lid allows to store all the paper and crayons inside the table making sure the mess is contained. It is a great opportunity to prepare them for school too.
Remove the doors and add the legs and you’ll get nice small shelving units to place in the living room corner beside your reading nook.
A chain of cabinets could be reused as a window seat if the cabinets are sturdy enough. All you’ll need to do is to add some padding and cushions. Plus you’ll have additional space storage for seasonal clothes or maybe some wine.
Living Room Console
You can turn the old kitchen cabinets into a living room console using the same principle. Add little legs to them to ensure the doors open smoothly and store your movie or book collection there. How did you reuse your old kitchen cabinets?
