Table Decor for St. Patrick’s Day

Celebrating all things fresh and green, table accessories for this holiday could  be only green and shamrock-leprechaun inspired. One of the ways to set the mood for the St.Patrick’s day dinner is to add real shamrock centerpieces near the plate, or even to use them as name cards, however there are more creative ways to decorate for St. Patrick’s Day!

Shamrock Napkins

Add that special atmosphere with the shamrock-inspired napkin decor. It can either be folded like a shamrock, or have little shamrock details sewn into it. The napkin holder can also be of shamrock inspiration and it is easy to make one! Just decorate the casual napkin ring with a crafty shamrock – and it is done!

Shamrock Details

Making a glass vase centerpiece with green tulips, an idea taken from Yesterday On Tuesday – what could be more original. Take a green glass bottle, and decorate it using the shamrock templates, and letters. Add some green colored tulips, and burlap – and it is the cutest centerpiece.

Leprechaun Hats

The leprechaun hats are also cute details to accessorize the holiday table with. Traditionally they should be green, while their appearance can vary. Alongside the hats, the whole little figures of leprechauns can be used, or at least their images on the napkins and plates.

Generally keeping up with the green theme and shamrock details is enough to highlight the special holiday theme, however if you want to be original, try the mentioned above inspiring ideas and let your creativity run loose!
