Clair De Lune Collection By Fürstenberg

Fürstenberg manufacture was found by Charles Duke of Brunswick in 1747 and is still one of the best and oldest porcelain factories in Europe. It only has a few dozen of employees, but each of them is a true master of this craft. Each porcelain tableware piece is hand crafted and painted. Best hotels and restaurant all over the world choose Fürstenberg porcelain dinnerware, richest people have it in their private collections, and you can find them in world’s best museums.

Clair de Lune collection is already the third collection in Aureole line. It continues the theme that famous Korean porcelain master Kap-Sun Hwang chose for Aureole design: the sun and the moon.  Clair de Lune stands for itself in pure white but still provides room for avant-garde stylings. The magical attraction of the moon is transformed into beautiful compositions on the high-quality manufactured porcelain.

Kap-Sun Hwang focused on three main colors for the Clair de Lune: black and white plates and cups were handpainted with 24-carat gold. There are total of 30 pieces in Claire de Lune collection and each piece is unique and almost weightless.

Fürstenberg has created a lucent and radiant form which kind of floats between modern Europe craftsmanship and timeless Asian porcelain tradition. The collection was already awarded with the Red Dot “Honourable Mention” this year for its beautiful and outstanding design.
