This post presents to you the incredible contemporary Feldbalz house, overlooking the lake Zurich.
Modern Glass House
The Feldbalz house presents a masterpiece of glass and stone architecture. Located in Zurich, Switzerland the house is designed by Gus Wüstemann, renowned for his bold and massive constructions. The house presents three storey building dedicated to social interaction, incredible vistas on the amazing Zurich lake and most importantly freedom.
The interior design of this massive stone box is purely minimalistic, which does not break the rule of constructing a contemporary house like this. The first flour presents the social area, without any boundaries, while the above flour is designed specifically for adults. Another level, located beneath the first flour is exquisetelly for children, allowing privacy and interaction at the same time between the levels.
One of the most astonishing revelations of the house is the great view of the Lake, that opens up from the upper terrace. The house is practically surrounded by the ecologically healthy nature, astounding vistas and fresh air. Gus Wüstemann sees the Feldbalz house as the architectural sculpture. It seemes that he created the massive solid construction from stone and glass as a contemporary responce to the changing views of everyday life, as it is very sturdy, yet incredibly modern.
