DIY Pine Cone Topiary

So, for this project you will need: 2-12″ Foam cones, Hot Glue Gun, Mod Podge, Gold Spray Paint, Glitter in White Gold, Heavy Duty Scissors, Paint Brush and Pine cones. First thing to do is to cut the “petals” of pine cone using heavy duty scissors. If you want a metallic tone to the topiary, it is a good idea to apply the gold spray paint before cutting off the petals.

If the foam cones is white, paint it in the appropriate color, then when it is dry, start applying the glued petals. Once you have reached the top of the topiary, to preserve the cone shape invert and glue some of the petals on top. If you want to make your pine topiary more festive you can also add some glitter, or paint in mercury paint, but these topiaries are beautiful on their own!
