Bath and Spa accessories are always a very pleasant gift. However, looking at the tendency of the all natural products, the prices on them also soars up high. But don’t worry, if someone can make the DIY soaps, so can you. Here is what you will need for the pantry soap project: Glycerin, Honey, Ginger, Cinnamon ,Ground clove, oatmeal, Chamomile tea, Yogurt cups, 1 1/4 inches deep, or cottage cheese containers. Well, actually you can make the soap with any ingredients that you want, the most important is to include glycerin. This set assumes different kinds of pantry soaps: honey-ginger, oatmeal honey, cinnamon-clove. So first thing to do is to make the mixture:
- For honey-ginger mix for each cup of glycerin, add 1 teaspoon honey and 2 pinches ginger; optionally add 1/4 teaspoon chamomile tea.
- For cinnamon-clove mix 2 pinches cinnamon, 2 pinches ground clove:
- For oatmeal-honey use only clear glycerin in this soap; add 1 teaspoon honey, 2 pinches ginger, 2 teaspoons oatmeal;
Once you have made the mixtures, use your household molds to make the soaps. Some fill it with yogurt cups. After each soap is set, press on sides of the mold to loosen the soap and to release it.
