Capsuled Moscow Apartment
This is an unusual apartment, that is located on the fifth flour of the building, in Moscow. It’s unnatural narrow construction sparked an idea in Peter Kostelov, a designer behind this project. He removed the original wall coverage and created an elevated panels around the apartments, so that the sunshine could stay there longer. The white oak of the panels is contrasting with the dark leather furniture, creating somewhat dull grayish brown palette, however this house doesn’t really need additional items. It has an eco-friendly design and really comfortable to live in, as it offers maximum comfort and really stylish interior design solutions in the midst of the typical soviet construction.
Peter Kostelov is a contemporary architect, with progressive views on the architecture and design. He has won several awards, such as International Festival of Architecture and Interior Design “Under the Roof of Home” 2012 for a “Multi-Level Apartment”. His initial education was in a sphere of cinematography, yet he has been working as a self employed architect since 1995 and now he is very productive in his area, having a lot of projects completed in 2012.
