Books and Original Bookends
With the new technologies and for people growing up in the digital age, books and reading are getting to be more of a very old, almost antique thing quite fast than a common find in our homes, at least in their physical format. With the internet (not to mention e-books), physical books slowly becoming outdated for the next generation. However, this does not mean that there are not those of us who would better purchase the physical copy than download some file from the web. There are quite many people who do love to read books and think of a good way to have their books on the shelves with the bookends.
Once Seth Godin, an American author, entrepreneur, marketer, and public speaker, said and did put in best that a book is a physical souvenir, a concrete instantiation of your ideas in a physical object, something that gives your ideas substance and allows them to travel.
While we may not have enough physical books to fill a library, we could certainly benefit from cool bookends to help keep our books organized on the shelf. You would think with physical book sales being on the decline, there would be slim pickings when it comes to bookends, wrong. Here you will see several cool bookends to look at and it is very believable that they do give you a feeling to buy a book.
You can demonstrate your love of all things literary with these beautiful ‘Love’ bookends. The bookends are cast in high quality polystone, have been hand painted, and are limited edition just like many of the other Star Wars bookends available.
For Books about Gansters
There are several different gun and pistol bookends, but none is like this. On one lend you have the actual pistol, while the other shows bullet dents along with a bullet penetrating the bookend itself as if someone fired off a round through your book collection. This could be great for your collection of gangster movies as well.

Created as test subjects at Aperture Science, this creative set shows a test subject going in through the orange portal on one side, and emerging from the blue portal on the other. This officially licensed Portal collectible is made of durable aluminum that has been outfitted with a non-slip rubber padding along the bottom, so it will not slide around on your shelf.
